I think the first time I ever saw LGS on the TV was Peter Purves’ first appearance on Blue Peter when he changed into his trunks on air (I think), went out through Reception, ran across the road and straight into the swimming baths opposite. I would have been 10 at the time I saw this.

 Which of the two buildings that I have just mentioned are still there?

I know one that isn’t. The enormous RSJ over the left-hand crane used to support the roof of Studio F.
