“Girls of Slender Means”, a dramatisation of the novel by Muriel Spark. A plot contrivance required the largely young, female cast to remove their clothes even more frequently than was the norm for TV dramas of that period. It order to set them at their ease, the Camera Crew presented them with this introductory photograph. Featuring:- Richard Lennox, Peter Fox, David John, John Henshall, David Mutton, Roger Bunce and Dave Hunter.
A few days later, it was St. Valentine’s Day and that young female cast returned the complement.
Featuring Miriam Margolyes, Mary Tamm, Patricia Hodge and Marilyn Finlay.

Despite having spoken to most of the faces in it, none of us can remember what the show was, nor why we’re all dressed this way, but we’re guessing a date about 1984. There are also certain subtle clues (less observant people might have missed them), which suggest that, whatever the programme was, this was probably the Christmas edition! Featuring, from left to right: John Longley, Roger Bunce, Chris Miller, Julian Penrose, Colin Hazelwood, Chris Glass, John Thompson and Dave Lee.
