This leaflet dates from 1955, presumably when the young Bellefontaine was trying to get into broadcasting. Also back in the days when, as you can tell from the tone, camera and sound persons (well, men, actually, as women weren’t invented yet) were thought of as slightly inferior types who couldn’t quite hack it – though they could, if they wanted to, sit the exams in order to graduate to a higher plane of engineering existence.
