A cut-out and glue card kit to make a one-twelfth \(1/12) scale model of the Cathode Potential Stabilised Emitron TV Camera (CPS Emitron camera). These cameras were used in the BBC Lime Grove Studios D, E, G,and H (until the latter became the experimental colour studio).
This cut-out-and-glue model of the CPS Emitron Camera head has been designed to 1/12th scale, so that it is compatible with the EMI 2001 Camera and Vinten Heron Crane models which are also available, and the model can be used with doll’s house furniture and fittings to make studio sets. However, this model is not a fully scale model of the camera, as many elements have been simplified for the assembly. Please be aware of this.
In addition, every photograph seems to show a different variation of the CPS Emitron Camera Head. This model can not reflect every one of those variations, so this is more a “generic” Mk 3 CPS Emitron than an exact model of any one version.
This card construction kit consists of a single A4 sheet of artwork, printable on thin card (160 gsm or heavier) using a standard ink-jet printer, and a downloadable 30 page instruction booklet.
