“Here are some more photos of RE2 in the mid ’60s at the races, covering the remote starts. At one Royal Ascot we also moved to cover the arrival of the royal coaches and got a wave from Prince Philip.I was the T.A. on photos 1-7 but took every opportunity to sit at the camera! Stan Bale and Chas Snare were the official cameramen and the camera mount had long been modified from the ‘gun turret’ to the swivel seat arrangement by this time.”
