When I left I inadvertently borrowed a double ender and occasionally practice tying knots in it single handed.
The sign of many boring programmes.

I seem to remember there were two ways to knot a double-ender single-handed – one slightly more flamboyant (but of course more difficult) than the other.
And who can forget ‘Boom Billiards’? Played on the platform of a Fisher Boom using the knobs from the Crab/Steer and Brake handles as balls, a disassembled ‘B’stand for a cue and the cable routing hole as a pocket. Cushions fashioned from camera tape and – for the more industrious – a ball return system constructed from paper cups!
Then they ‘araldited’ the knobs to the handles – spoilsports!
