Some background
In the early days of the VT department there was plenty of time to head for the canteen for morning coffee, afternoon tea and the like, but, as bookings became more and more intense, the time for such an expedition was not available. Room was found in Area 2 to have a kettle and so the art of VT Tea began.

Louis Barfe suggested the idea of a VT Tea mug for Tech Ops. Gary Critcher suggested that Tech Ops photograph the mugs in as many far flung locations as possible.
