HM The Queen Visit to TVC – 1961

Background

Her Majesty the Queen visited Television Centre on 2 November 1961 to mark the 25th birthday of the Corporation. Her Majesty met the cast of “Crackerjack” with Eamonn Andrews.  Normally, “Crackerjack” was transmitted from TV Theatre, but moved up to TVC for HM’s visit.
