Dickie Bunn

Geoff Fletcher

I have just heard that Dickie Bunn passed away earlier this week. I have no otherinfo. He was a good friend of mine and Jules Greenway since TO19 in spring and early summer 1964.

He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him. My sincere condolences to Karen and Dickie’s family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Dick Bunn’s passing. I’ll never forget how well he looked after me as a newish trainee on Crew11 back in 1966-7. A lovely laid back character with a great sense of fun.

We lost touch when I moved to OBs but thirty years later he turned up as a producer choice freelancer on a live behind the scenes show about Eastenders that I supervised. He hadn’t changed and we were both so pleased to renew our friendship.

RIP Dickie

Graeme Wall

I spent 15 years swinging him on the mole crane at Southern/TVS. Great guy to work with.
