The article explains how grazing cows have been fitted with GPS gadgets so that they can graze freely in parts of Epping Forest, but kept away from certain areas, such as roads and how the permitted areas can be refined on a smartphone before places become overgrazed.  In essence, it’s a virtual electric fence which gives a warning sound as the prospect of a shock approaches.  It’s a great idea which could be deployed in many other areas.
