The recent comments about sound quality, reminds me that in the ‘good ole days’ of TVC, we used to spell a session in Quality Control, which had a matrix switchboard, where one could sample the signal at various stages in the broadcast chain, right through from studio o/p to TVC o/p to BH switching centre, to transmitter i/p and if a live prog – off-air.
We CARED! 

Wonder if there will be television in Heaven?
Well, it wouldn’t be terrestrial!
Maybe Angels’ haloes act as an inductive aerial. Is there a Ronnie Barker sketch in there?
