Obviously, the on-board mic!
However, location caterers seem to have got it set up well, and special FX got a good fire going in the grate, not too crackly, as that would upset the sound dept.

Wasn’t April 1st, was it?

This woodcut was shown on a Lucy Worsley programme this evening and I thought it looked as though the guy on the right might have been the world's first video cameraman.
