This has been a big deal on various anorak forums in the past.  Which OB unit? Was it colour? Where was it?

The answer to where is Abbey Road. 

Wikipedia has a page about Our World, and colourising the Beatles section.  I think the OB unit wasn't BBC - someone else will know.
