Looking back and listening to our own work from the 70s, 80s and 90s would, I suspect, make a fair few of us cringe. That's a style thing, the zeigteist moves inexorably forward... BUT...there was an integrity and an assumption of intelligence on behalf of the viewer, that is sadly lacking today. Today it's all 'broad brush'; there is no nuance, no subtlety no style. That's what you get when you manage creative folk by committee.
