From Roger Bunce (and Peter Woodley, Roy Bailey and Doug Coldwell)

Long ago in the 1960s, the BBC was proud of its new television factory at White City in London. It produced, amongst other material, these two books. I'm writing this in 2009, and the building and much else about the BBC is in sad decline. Hopefully, these will remind people of former glories....

(I have the faint idea that the one on the right appears many pages back with Dave Jervis's name attached to it. Ah well, never mind)

This, by the way, is Roger, photographed by Harry Goodwin one day (also long ago) whilst working on Top of the Pops

..and here are some pictures Roger found "digging through some old slides" -

This one is date-stamped Dec '72 and shows early Marconi colour cameras with enlarged ring-steers in Pres B, and two cameramen. The one on the left is Ian Stacey, but we don't know who the other one is.   A quick flip of the vt clock reflected in the control room window shows that they are working on Up Sunday.

This one, date-stamped Feb '73, is Pres B again. Producer Ian Keill and his P.A. Enid Musson are visible, in their hippy days, and that may be John Fortune behind them.

John Corby's crew in the early 1990s - working on Eastenders, posing in Albert Square in the snow. Left to Right: Roger Bunce, Kevin Coe, John Corby, Ann Larkham and Geoff Oliver. The photo was taken by Ian Head.

In a slight change of direction, because I don't currently have an appropriate place to put it, here's a Crew 3 Christmas card,
lately found by Peter Combes
