I remember Peter Byrne (Andy Crawford in \u201cDixon…\u201d) being described as \u201cthe cameraman\u2019s actor\u201d.  He always hit his marks, and knew exactly where his keylight was.<\/p>\n

Alex Thomas, Alec Bray<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We did a sequel to \u201cA for Andromeda\u201d  with Susan Hampshire who admitted to being dyslexic but never forgot her lines (\u201cThe Andromeda Breakthrough\u201d).<\/p>\n

One of the characters, an Egyptian police inspector Col Salim, (played by Barry Linehan), was always off his marks and in episode 4 when he was \u201cshot dead\u201d I had a preset shot which he was supposed to fall into.<\/p>\n

On the first stagger through when he was shot dead, the camera crew cheered as the character was obviously leaving the show.<\/p>\n

He was to say the least, very indignant.<\/p>\n

He still missed his mark in \u201cdeath\u201d on the recording.<\/p>\n
