I thought this might be of interest. It\u2019s a scan of the \u2018Handbook\u2019 for those going to Wood Norton. It dates from about 1979? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n I was at Wood Norton during the summer. Even though it was quite warm I do not remember anyone going anywhere near the outdoor pool.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n I can’t find my pic in the huge number I have but there really was swimming pool there even back in 1966. It was up the side of the hill a bit and was apparently built as a bear pit in original Wood Norton days.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Just the changing rooms left in 2014\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Yes, it was where the Duc d’Orleans’ bear pit originally was.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n I remember on one of my Courses some enterprising students turned the pool into a BOAT SHOW!! My favourite memory of Evesham was the AUDIO TAPE the “EVESHAM CLEANERS” complete with a superb Double Bass solo. Wish I still had a copy!\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
